About these terms
These terms cover your use of thetripstory.in and any enquiry or booking you make with TheTripStory.in through it. By using the website or booking a trip, you agree to them.
Prices and availability
Prices are in Indian rupees, per person, and the “from” price is for the lowest sharing option. Each trip page lists what is and isn't included, including GST where it applies. Prices, dates and seats can change until your booking is confirmed.
Bookings and payments
Sending an enquiry is not a booking. Your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing (on WhatsApp or by email) after receiving the agreed advance. The payment schedule and the cancellation and refund terms for your trip are shared with your quote and form part of your booking.
Changes to a trip
Travel in the mountains depends on weather, road conditions, permits and safety. We or our trip captains may change routes, timings or stays when needed, and will offer comparable alternatives where possible. Extra costs caused by events outside our control (such as landslides, road closures or flight delays) are not included unless the trip page says so.
Travelling with us
Please carry a valid government photo ID, follow the guidance of your trip captain and guides, and look after your own belongings. Travel insurance is not included unless stated, and we recommend it.
Website content
We work to keep trip details, photos and descriptions accurate, but they are a guide and may change. The details in your confirmed booking take priority.
