Overview

A spiritual trek to Madhyamaheshwar, where Shiva is worshipped in the form of the navel. Drive past Devprayag and Dhari Devi to Ukhimath's Omkareshwar Temple, stay in a village homestay at Ransi, then walk 16–17 km to the temple meadow for the evening aarti. At dawn, climb to Budha Madhyamaheshwar for the Chaukhamba view. Triple sharing from ₹6,967, double from ₹7,439 (plus 5% GST).

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. 1Day 1Overnight journey from Delhi to Rishikesh

    Meet at Akshardham Metro Station (Gate 1) for the overnight drive of about 6 hours to Rishikesh.

  2. 2Day 2Rishikesh to Ransi via Devprayag and Omkareshwar

    Stop at Devprayag Sangam and the Dhari Devi Temple, then visit Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, where the idols of Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar spend the winter. Reach Ransi village by evening for dinner at a homestay.

  3. 3Day 3Trek to Madhyamaheshwar

    Start by 6:30 AM with a local guide for the 16–17 km trail to Madhyamaheshwar Temple at 3,490 m. Join the evening aarti and spend the night in a homestay or camp near the temple.

  4. 4Day 4Budha Madhyamaheshwar and back to Ransi

    An early climb to Budha Madhyamaheshwar for a panorama of the Chaukhamba peaks, then breakfast and the long walk down to Ransi by evening. Start the overnight drive to Delhi.

  5. 5Day 5Arrive Delhi

    Reach Delhi in the morning. Trip ends.
