A long-weekend trek with a big payoff. Two nights in camps or cottages at Chopta, a sunrise climb past Tungnath to Chandrashila peak for a 360° view of the Garhwal Himalaya, and a final walk to Deoria Tal, where Chaukhamba reflects in the lake. Day-by-day itinerary

  1. 1Day 1Overnight journey from Delhi

    Meet the group and your team captains at Akshardham Metro Station by 9 PM for a short briefing, then set off overnight towards the Garhwal hills.

  2. 2Day 2Devprayag, Dhari Devi and on to Chopta

    Breakfast at Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet to become the Ganga. Visit the Dhari Devi Temple on the Alaknanda, then drive on to Chopta by afternoon. Check in to your camp or cottage with the snow peaks in view. Dinner and overnight stay.

  3. 3Day 3Tungnath and Chandrashila trek

    Wake up for sunrise and breakfast, then drive to the trailhead. Walk up to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and continue to Chandrashila peak for a sweeping view of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedarnath and Chaukhamba. Trek back to Chopta for dinner and a second night at camp.

  4. 4Day 4Deoria Tal and the drive home

    After breakfast, check out and drive to Sari village for the short trek to Deoria Tal, a still lake that mirrors the Chaukhamba massif. Walk back down to Sari and start the overnight journey to Delhi.

  5. 5Day 5Arrive Delhi

    Reach Delhi early in the morning. Trip ends.
